Street Scenes |
I see buildings, houses and structures like I see people: All different and with characters that display the test of time. They are the reflection of man and his evolution so naturally they are fascinating in and of themselves. For me, painting street scenes is like painting a family with all its generations and all the individuals that make up their history for us to view.

Hillside Inn You do a lot of walking in Europe, because the most interesting towns are the oldest ones. This is where you find quaint villages with their cobblestone streets that rise and fall like a roller-coaster. For the artist there is no lack of fantastic subject matter that colors itself with fresh blooms of flowers from almost every window.
I think this painting, Hillside Inn (Germany), really captures this, and happily, it became one of the most popular selling prints for Home Interior International Art Publishers.
